MISSING PERSON UPDATE
On 10/29/2019 at around 2:58 AM, the Red Oak Police Department received notification that Walker County Public Safety had located Mr. Dubose safe and transported him to the Huntsville (Texas) Police Department. We sincerely appreciate the assistance from our community and everybody that assisted with this matter. The Silver Alert has been canceled and the incident has been closed.

PRESS RELEASE MISSING PERSON
The Red Oak Police Department is requesting the community’s assistance in locating a missing person- endangered. On October 28th, 2019 at around 1:36 PM, the Red Oak Police Department was contacted in regards to a Missing Person Endangered. The reporting person advised that her husband Dubose, Lloyd B/M 7/7/1943 was last seen on 10/28/2019 at around 9:30 AM at the Exxon gas station located at 100 Harris in the City of Red Oak. Mrs. Dubose stated that her husband was following her in another vehicle and that as they left in separate vehicles, she lost sight of him after departing the gas station. Mrs. Dubose stated that her husband was supposed to follow her to a business in Cedar Hill and that her husband failed to arrive at the business. Mrs. Dubose stated that family members searched roadways between Red Oak and Cedar Hill for several hours before contacting the Red Oak Police Department. Mrs. Dubose advised that Mr. Dubose accidentally left his cell phone at their residence when they left that morning.

Mr. Dubose takes medication for Dementia and Diabetes and is described as a 76-year-old black male, 5'11 / 196 pounds, bald with a black & gray mustache and brown eyes. Mr. Dubose was last wearing an all grey sweat suit and was last seen driving a black Ford F-150 Pickup bearing Texas License Plate (BB7-8172). The Red Oak Police Department requested a Silver Alert broadcast, which received approval on 10/28/2019 at 5:00 PM for broadcasting by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
