On October 28, 2019, at about 1:50 a.m., deputies from the Wasco Substation were dispatched to the south alley of the 800 block of Highway 46 for gunshots heard in the area. When deputies arrived, they located a Hispanic male adult suffering from gunshot wounds to his upper body. The victim was pronounced deceased on scene. Homicide detectives were called to the scene and assumed the investigation.
The investigation is active and on-going.
