With the Diwali holiday upon us, the South Brunswick Police Department would like to remind everyone of the updated laws regarding fireworks in New Jersey. The law now permits the storage, retail sales and use of sparkling devices and novelties by the public 16 years of age or older. Refer to the attached Flyer which provides pictures and descriptions of legal and prohibited fireworks in New Jersey. Fireworks are not recommended to be utilized indoors due to safety concerns.
