Summerlake Fire

Residents of Summerlake and the eastern portion of the City near East Cypress Road are asked to continue to evacuate the area.   The Oakley REC Center is open and the Red Cross is there to provide assistance. 

The fire department reports they have stopped the forward motion of the fire and are now working to contain the fire.   

East Cypress Road is subject to closures for fire and law enforcement vehicle use. 

Please avoid the area.  

If you need assistance in evacuating, please call 911.
