EAST CHICAGO WATER DEPARTMENT - RESIDENT NOTICE NOTICE TO RESIDENTS LOCATION: RAILROAD AVENUE AND COLUMBUS DRIVE The City of East Chicago will be performing work in the areas of Columbus and Indianapolis on October 27, 2019 relating to water line repair/replacement work and the water services within the above referenced areas will temporarily be affected. Residents in the vicinity may expect interruption of water services, reduced water pressure and/or water discoloration. Also, roadways in the vicinity may be closed to vehicular traffic as a result. If you experience interruption of water service, the service will return upon completion of the work. If you experience discoloration in your water, clear the pipes in your home/business by running all water faucets for a few minutes; or if you experience low water pressure or volume seems low, please check your faucets and washer screens for trapped debris.
