* Portions of north central Illinois and northeast Illinois, including the following areas, in north central Illinois, De Kalb and La Salle. In northeast Illinois, Cook, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kendall, Lake IL, and Will.

* Until 6 AM CDT Sunday

* Periods of moderate rainfall are expected across the area into the predawn hours. Total rainfall amounts in excess of 2 inches are likely in most areas, with some locally higher amounts possible. Runoff from this rain will lead to significant rises on area streams and rivers, as well as cause some areal flooding.

* AFFECTED AREAS: COOK ... DE KALB ... KENDALL ... DUPAGE ... LAKE ... WILL ... KANE ... LA SALLE ... GRUNDY
