...A Flash Flood Watch is in Effect for the Midsouth... .A slow-moving upper level low pressure system will interact with moisture from Post-Tropical Cyclone Olga to bring light to occasionally moderate rainfall to the Midsouth today. Event total rainfall of 2 to 4 inches will be possible by the time the rain exits late this afternoon. Rivers and streams may flood adjacent low-lying areas, and urban areas may experience localized street flooding. The Flash Flood Watch is now in effect for
* Portions of North Mississippi and West Tennessee, including the following areas, in North Mississippi, Alcorn, Itawamba, Lee, Monroe, Prentiss, and Tishomingo. In West Tennessee, Crockett, Dyer, Gibson, Lake, Obion, and Weakley.
* Until 2 PM CDT this afternoon.
* Event total of 2 to 4 inches rainfall by Saturday afternoon.
* Low-lying areas near rivers and streams may flood. Urban areas may experience localized street flooding.
* AFFECTED AREAS: LAKE ... PRENTISS ... ITAWAMBA ... DYER ... CROCKETT ... GIBSON ... WEAKLEY ... OBION ... TISHOMINGO ... LEE ... MONROE ... ALCORN
