LOCATION OCCURRED:  Michaels, 300 Nassau Park Blvd.

DETAILS:  Ptl. Mahon investigated the report of Criminal Mischief at the Michaels store. Investigation determined that during the overnight hours between 10/4 and 10/5, someone shattered one of the windows at the front of the store. No entry was made into the store as only the outside window pane was shattered while the inside pane remained intact.

Arrested: Shazeema T. Dowdell, Black female, 24 years of age
                Resident of Trenton, NJ 08638

DETAILS:  Ptl. Fiore was detailed to the Target store for a shoplifting in progress. As Ptl. Fiore was arriving on scene, it was reported that the suspect had exited the store and got into a dark colored Chevrolet sedan that was leaving the parking lot. Ptl. Fiore initiated a motor vehicle stop on the sedan and investigation determined the following: Shazeema Dowdell selected $577.22 worth of clothing and concealed the items into a large tote bag which she also taken from the store. Dowdell passed all points of sale and attempted to leave the store when she was confronted by store Assets Protection. She then abandoned the stolen property and left the store. Dowdell was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending a future date at Mercer County Superior Court.

Arrested: Pamela D. Sharples, White female, 58 years of age
                Resident of East Windsor, NJ 08520
 
OFFICER:  Ptl. P. Buchanan #5109             
 
DETAILS:  While Ptl. Buchanan was directing traffic on Southfield Rd. due to a serious motor vehicle crash on RT. 571, his attention was drawn to a dark colored Volvo SUV stopped very close to a police vehicle positioned in the roadway.  He tried to direct the SUV around the police vehicle, but it became apparent to Ptl. Buchanan that the driver was having difficulty maneuvering her vehicle. Ptl. Buchanan made contact with the driver, Pamela Sharples, and upon further investigation determined that she was DWI. Sharples was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending a future date in West Windsor Municipal Court.

Suspect: White male, bald head, clean shaven, and wearing sunglasses, dress shirt and   
               pants.

DETAILS:  Ptl. De Blasio and Ptl. Knox were detailed to the Bank of America for a report of fraudulent activity. Investigation determined that a White male suspect presented a fictitious NY driver’s license and temporary Bank of America debit card in the name of an account holder, and attempted to withdraw money from that account. When the bank clerk denied the transaction, the suspect became agitated and demanded his documents back. After police were called the suspect started to leave the bank. An employee followed the suspect who then threatened to kill the employee if he continued to follow. The suspect left the scene in a black sedan prior to police arrival.

DETAILS:  Ptl. Fiore was detailed to the Target store for a shoplifter being detained by Assets Protection. Investigation determined that Chyna Reynolds, a MarketSource employee who works in the Target Mobile department of the store, selected several articles of clothing and concealed them into a Target shopping bag. Reynolds then went into the bathroom where she put on some of the clothes she had just taken, and carried the rest out in the shopping bag. Reynolds was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending a future date in West Windsor Municipal Court.

DETAILS:  Ptl. Collins investigated the theft of a wallet and credit cards from the Whole Foods Market where the following occurred: While the 60 year old victim was at Whole Foods, she had her purse in her shopping cart. While she shopped, someone stole her wallet from her purse. The victim’s credit cards that were inside her wallet were used to make over $1,200.00 in purchases from Macy’s and Sephora located in the Quakerbridge Mall.

DETAILS:  Ptl. Fiore responded to a single car crash involving a white Volkswagen SUV that overturned. Ptl. Fiore arrived on scene to find the SUV lying on its side. Investigation determined that Adam Parker was driving his vehicle east on Washington Rd. when he drove off the side of the road where his vehicle struck a tree and overturned. Parker was subsequently determined to be DWI. He was transported to the hospital.  Parker was charged with DWI, Reckless Driving, and Careless Driving.

DETAILS:  Ptl. Crawford was detailed to the Target store for a shoplifter who was being detained by Assets Protection. Investigation determined the following: Dawn Colorundo selected various store merchandise/clothing (valued at over $600) and concealed some of the items into a Target shopping bag, while other items were left loose in the shopping cart she was using. She pushed the shopping cart past all points of sale without making payment and was stopped by Assets Protection as she was leaving the store. Colorundo was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending a future date at Mercer County Superior Court.

DETAILS:  Ptl. Buchanan was detailed to a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of U.S. Route 1 and Washington Rd.  Investigation determined that a black Nissan SUV driven by Brianna Sander, attempted to make a prohibited left turn from U.S. Route 1 through a gap in the concrete barrier to get to Washington Rd., but was struck from behind while doing so. Sander was found to be DWI and processed at WWPD Headquarters. She was released pending a future date at West Windsor Municipal Court.

DETAILS:  Ptl. De Blasio and Ptl. Knox were detailed to the Target store for a shoplifter being detained by Assets Protection. Investigation determined that Kristen Mungra entered the store and picked up some items she purchased online from the guest services counter. Afterwards, she walked around the store and put several more items into the shopping cart she was using. She then pushed her shopping cart filled with mostly infant and childcare items (valued at $496.50) past all points of sale and attempted to leave the store. Mungra was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending a future date at Mercer County Superior Court.
