Major road construction activities on Vanden Road are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. on Friday, October 25 and continue through 5 a.m. on Sunday, October 27. Vanden Road will be fully closed between Canon Road and just east of the Fairfield-Vacaville Hannigan Train Station.
The project includes roadway reconstruction, drainage, paving, and traffic striping. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes, or the suggested detour route.
The City is anxious to have this project completed before the fall rains begin.
