Red Ribbon Week is October 23rd – 31st. Stay drug free!

Red Ribbon Week is our nation’s largest and oldest drug prevention campaign which currently reaches over 80 million people annually.  Izabella Ware, a student at Griswold Middle School in Connecticut, creating the winning theme for this year’s Red Ribbon Week.  Her smart message, “Send a Message. Stay Drug Free.” was selected among thousands of submissions.
Keep your mind and body healthy and sharp by staying drug free.  Parents – talk to your kids about the dangers of drug and alcohol use.  Kids – report any drug activity in your schools to your parents, a teacher, or your School Resource Officer.  It is up to all of us to keep our schools and neighborhoods safe and drug free.  Our officers will be out talking about this very thing with our youngest citizens.
If you are struggling with alcohol or drug addiction, and are ready to seek help, please call the National Drug Helpline at 1-844-289-0879.
