Frankfort and surrounding communities continue to experience burglaries to motor vehicles and stolen vehicles. Remember to lock your vehicles and never leave keys or key fobs inside of your car. Recently, a nearby town had a case where the offenders were armed. Please do not confront offenders, instead call 911 immediately and provide information to help police locate the subjects. A description of the offender, the vehicle, and direction of travel is helpful. Make checking locks on your vehicles and home part of your night time routine. Next Saturday, October 26th The Frankfort Police Department along with various businesses and organizations will be hosting our annual Safety Trunk or Treat. This family friendly event is held in the Breidert Green Municipal Lot from 10am-12pm. The event begins promptly at 10 am with the E.F. Bucko Costume Parade. We hope to see you there!
