Fire Weather Watch until 07:00PM Sunday

...FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT SUNDAY AFTERNOON INTO THE EVENING FOR MOST OF THE EAST DUE TO STRONG WINDS AND LOW HUMIDITIES... .A strong trough will sweep through New Mexico Sunday with dry and windy conditions. Winds will subside during the evening hours. The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a Fire Weather Watch...which is in effect from Sunday afternoon through early Sunday evening.

* AREA AND TIMING...Northeast Highlands and Plains and East Central Plains, which is in effect Sunday afternoon into early Sunday evening.

* 20 FOOT WINDS...West to Northwest at 25 to 35 mph and gusts to 45 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...8 to 15 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

* AFFECTED AREAS: EAST CENTRAL PLAINS ... NORTHEAST HIGHLANDS ... NORTHEAST PLAINS
