SUMMARY:
On Thursday, October 17, 2019 at about 12:44 a.m., deputies from the Highland Police Station were dispatched to the 7300 block of McKinley Street in reference to a residential robbery that occurred several hours prior. The investigation revealed Rosanna Ventura, a documented gang affiliate, went to the residence and asked the victim for money. The victim gave Ventura $20 after she demanded money. Ventura demanded more money and began to hit the victim in the face when an unidentified male suspect entered the residence. The male suspect held the victim down while Ventura assaulted the victim. The male suspect punched the victim again before they fled the scene. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Later the same day, Ventura was contacted on the 27000 Block of Villa Ave. At the conclusion of an interview, Ventura was arrested for PC 212.5, home invasion robbery, and booked into the Central Detention Center with bail set at $200,000. She was also booked for violating her probation and is being held without bail. She is scheduled to appear in Superior Court in San Bernardino on December 21, 2019 to be arraigned for the charges and December 22, 2019 for the violation of probation.
