ROADWAY REMAINS CLOSED: Avoid the 1-mile stretch of Foothill Expressway from Grant Road to Homestead Road while PG&E continues repair work on the downed power pole and lines. PRESS RELEASE: On 10/17/19 at approximately 2:40 pm, a vehicle accident occurred on Foothill Expressway at Arboretum Drive. The vehicle overturned and struck a power pole, causing live wires to fall across Foothill Expressway. There were minor injuries to the driver. Foothill Expressway is closed in both directions between Arboretum and Homestead Road. PG&E is on scene repairing the power lines. The time for reopening is undetermined at this time. Please avoid the area and use alternate routes. We will advise when the road is clear. There are power outages in the area.
