Update: The Ammonia leak has stopped and all roads are open except University Ave.

The Green Bay Metro Fire Department and the Green Bay Police Department are investigating a possible ammonia leak at American Foods at 544 Acme St. GBMFD personnel are on scene investigating the leak. Employees from the American Foods have been evacuated and the residents around this location are asked to shelter in place.

University Ave is closed between Elizabeth St to Henry St and we are asking all drivers to avoid this area. Please use Main St or Mason St as alternate routes of travel.
