Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose requests the public’s help in identifying the below pictured suspect in connection with a burglary at A & B Auto Car, 991 18th Avenue, that occurred on Tuesday, October 14, 2019.

A male broke into the dealership lot when the business was closed, slashed the tires of several vehicles and broke the windshields of other vehicles.

While police are actively searching for this suspect, we seek the public’s help in quickly identifying him as part of this ongoing investigation.

Director Ambrose urges anyone with information about this suspect to call the Department's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477) or 1-877-NWK-GUNS (1-877-695-4867). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
