OSBI INVESTIGATING HOMICIDE IN MIAMI 
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) has been requested by the Miami, Okla., Police Department to investigate a murder that occurred last night.
At approximately 9:00 p.m., Miami police were contacted about a shooting in the 200 block of I Street. When they arrived, officers found one person was shot and killed and two others were shot and wounded. The shooter was found inside the residence deceased.
The two that were injured were life-flighted to a hospital in Tulsa for treatment.
The deceased is 11-year-old Kayla Billings. Her mother, 38-year-old Melissa Wallace, was injured as was Wallace’s boyfriend, 38-year-old James Miller. Wallace is also pregnant.
The suspect is 39-year-old David Billings.
The OSBI investigation is ongoing.
