Sheriff Richard J Behnke reports his deputies responded to a personal injury crash on 10/14/19 at approximately 1715 hours on Dailey Rd and M60, Jefferson Township, County of Cass. A vehicle driven by Daquan Brown (18 year old of Elkhart) was traveling southbound on Dailey Rd when he failed to stop prior to entering the intersection at which point a collision occurred with a westbound vehicle driven by Kathy Nixon (30 year old of Cassopolis). After the initial collision, a third vehicle heading eastbound being driven by, Joseph Mosier (58 year old of Three Rivers) and a passenger Christopher Rainwater (40 year old out of Constantine) were struck by the other vehicles within the intersection. All parties were transported by ambulance to local hospitals for injuries. Seat belts were worn and airbags deployed in all vehicles. Alcohol and drugs do not appear to be a factor. This crash remains under investigation.

Deputies were assisted on scene by Cassopolis Fire Department, Penn Township Fire Department, Edwardsburg Ambulance, LifeCare Ambulance, and Pride Care Ambulance
