On October 14, 2019, at approximately 11:23 a.m., Kern County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched for a shooting outside of a residence four miles north of the Borax Mine in Boron.
The adult male victim had major injuries, but is expected to survive.
30-year-old Benjamin Yesk was arrested for attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon.
