OWI 7th Arrest 
On 10-13-19 at 5:45 PM Janesville Police responded to a traffic crash at W. Court St. and Austin Rd. The investigation showed a southbound vehicle on Austin Rd. failed to stop for the stop sign on Austin Rd. at W. Court St. This vehicle was then struck by a car traveling west on W. Court St. (STH 11). The driver who failed to stop for the stop sign showed signs of impairment which was confirmed through standard field sobriety tests. The driver identified as Curt Baumer, was arrested for OWI 7th after a department of transportation records check showed 6 prior convictions. Baumer is being held at the Rock Co. Jail pending an initial appearance in court.
