PG&E inspecting power lines to turn power back on

As of 2:11 p.m. today, PG&E began inspecting their infrastructure in Sonoma County to get power back to the community. The County does not know specific locations of the inspections or when power will be restored. You might see helicopters flying overhead inspecting power lines and crews out in the community.

County officials have set up six Alternate Emergency Reporting Stations where residents in affected areas may go to report emergencies if they are unable to use their home phones to call 9-1-1. Beginning today, Thursday, October 10, affected residents can request emergency services at the Starcross Monastic Community Center in Annapolis, Geyserville Fire Stations 1 and 2, the Knights Valley Volunteer Fire Station, the Bennett Valley Fire District Station, and the Schell-Vista Fire Station in Sonoma.

Please let PG&E conduct their inspection to get power restored. If a PG&E crew is threatened or harassed, they will leave the site, which will delay the process.
