September 30th

Grand Theft- 2300 block of Mono Ave:
At 10:38 am, an officer responded to the report of grand theft. During the night of the 29th, an unidentified suspect cut out the catalytic converter from a Toyota Prius.

Commercial Burglary – 10300 block San Pablo Ave:
At 09:50 am, an officer responded to the report of a commercial burglary. Sometime overnight, an unidentified suspect cut the AC vents, tunneled into the attic, but was unable to get inside of the business.

Grand Theft – 6500 block of Manila Ave: At 10:38 am, an officer responded to the report of a grand theft. During the night of the 29th, an unidentified suspect cut out the catalytic converter from a Toyota Prius.

Vandalism - Knott Ave. / San Pablo Ave:
At 12:02 pm, an officer was dispatched to the report of vandalism in progress. When the officer arrived, she located a 27-year-old Richmond man spray painting the wall behind McDonald's. The man briefly fled on foot, but was apprehended a short distance away.

Petty-Theft- 3020 EC Plaza (Sprint Store)
An officer reported that at 12:22 pm, an unknown male entered the business and stole a cellular phone.

Vandalism – Road Rage: 11565 San Pablo Ave:
At 3:09 pm, an officer contacted a female victim who reported that after she honked at a male subject during a road rage episode, he exited his vehicle and began to pummel her car with rocks.

October 1st

Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Evasion, Obstruction, False Impersonation, and Possession of Another’s Personal Information – San Pablo Avenue and Conlon Avenue:
At 6:46 pm, an officer attempted to stop a vehicle for a vehicle code violation. The car did not yield, and a short pursuit ensued. The suspect vehicle collided into two other cars before stopping. The driver, a 25-year-old female from Sacramento, then attempted to flee on foot. The female was apprehended a short distance later. During the investigation, it was discovered the vehicle was reported stolen to the Richmond Police in August. The female also gave officers several false names. The female was booked at the ECPD and then transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

October 2nd

Auto Burglary – 10600 block of San Pablo Avenue:
At 9:17 pm, an officer reports an unknown suspect shattered the front passenger window to the victim’s vehicle and removed a backpack containing a laptop, cash, and a wallet.

Auto Burglary - 2400 block of Edwards Ave.: An officer reported an unknown subject burglarized a vehicle overnight.

Auto Burglary - 5700 block of Alta Punta Ave.: An officer reported an unknown subject burglarized a vehicle overnight.

Auto Burglary - 2700 block of Tulare Ave.: An officer reported an unknown subject burglarized a vehicle overnight.

Auto Burglary – 1700 block of Ganges Ave.: An officer reported an unknown subject burglarized a vehicle overnight.
Auto Burglary- 7000 block of Cutting Blvd.: An officer reported an unknown subject burglarized a vehicle sometime overnight.

Vandalism- 1700 block of Walnut Ave: At 11:10 am, an officer responded to the report of a vandalized BMW. The owner parked partially blocking the roadway, and an unknown subject scratched several unkind words into the paint.

Stolen Auto- 11511 San Pablo Ave: At 2:10 pm, an officer responded to the report of a stolen vehicle recovery. The victim located their stolen white Honda Accord which was being driven by an unidentified female. Prior to police arrival, the victim was able regain possession of their vehicle but the suspect eluded capture.

October 4th

Grand Theft from Vehicle – 2400 block of Mira Vista Dr.
An unknown suspect stole the victim’s catalytic converter from their Toyota Prius. The theft occurred between September 24th at 8 pm to September 25th at 9 am.

Burglary – 500 block of Kearney St.
An unknown suspect entered the victim's gated community garage and stole a silver electric bicycle, which was secured with a chain and lock. The burglary took place during the night of the 3rd.

Auto Burglary – 5500 block of Central Ave.
An unknown suspect shattered the rear wing window to the victim’s vehicle and stole a wallet containing cash and miscellaneous credit cards. The theft occurred sometime during the night of the 4th.

Vandalism – MOD Pizza 5040 El Cerrito Plaza
At approximately 3:40 pm, an unknown suspect used a rock and shattered the rear windshield to the victim's Toyota Prius.

October 5th

Grand Theft – Key Blvd at Humboldt Ave.
An unknown suspect stole the victim’s catalytic converter from their Toyota Prius. The theft occurred sometime between Friday, October 4th at 9:15 am to Saturday, October 5th, at 9:30 pm.

Residential Burglary – 7200 block of Lincoln Avenue:
An officer responded to the report of a residential burglary. The officer learned that between 2:00 pm and 10:00 pm, an unknown suspect broke into the home and stole belongings from inside.

October 6th

Auto Burglary – 900 block of Pomona Avenue:
An officer went to a call of a vehicle that had been burglarized. When the officer arrived, they learned that between 4:45 pm and 7:00 pm someone broke into their car and stole belongings.

Driving Under the Influence – San Pablo Avenue at Wall Avenue:
An officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop and determined the driver was under the influence of alcohol. The driver was arrested, booked at the ECPD, and then released to a sober friend.

October 7th

Grand Theft – 10000 block of San Pablo Ave.
An unknown suspect stole the victim’s catalytic converter from their Toyota Prius. The theft occurred on October 6th between 6:45 pm and 9:30 pm.

Residential Burglary – 700 block of Pomona Ave.
At 12:30 pm, officers were dispatch to a residential burglary that just occurred. When the victim was driving up to her house, she saw two suspects walking away. The victim walked inside her residence and discovered the burglary.

Stolen Vehicle Report – 1000 block of Richmond St.
An unknown suspect stole the victim's 2014 Honda Civic from the front of their residence. The theft occurred on Oct. 6th between 7:45 pm and 7:30 am.
