3rd Precinct Community Service Officer Silva Helps Homeless and Conducts Illegal Dumping Cleanup 
3rd Precinct Community Service Officer M. Silva teamed up with members of the 2nd Precinct and the City of Newark Department of Health and Community Wellness last night in assisting homeless individuals to find shelter and a warm meal.
Officer Silva also responded to multiple complaints about refuse illegally dumped in front of an empty lot on Thomas Street. He worked alongside Commercial District Services to clean up the location this morning.
