Full Notification

At approximately 4:20am, a small brush fire was reported to be burning on the shoulder of Southbound HWY 101 in between Paradise Drive in Corte Madera and East Blithedale. Central Marin Fire responded to the scene and quickly extinguished the fire. CHP has the right two lanes of the southbound side of the freeway shut down for the safety of the fire crews and will remain on scene until CMFD clears. Casa Buena Drive is shut down between Conow Street and Meadow Valley. There is no threat to any homes or structures at this time and the fire has been completely extinguished.
