On October 8, 2019, at approximately 1843 hours, a drive-by shooting occurred in the 200 block of West Tenth Street in Gilroy.  Unknown suspects in an unknown vehicle fired several rounds at a group of juveniles.  One 16-year-old male juvenile was struck but survived.  The suspect vehicle was last seen fleeing at a high rate of speed southbound on Church Street. The victim was transported to a local trauma center where he was treated and subsequently released.
 
There is no suspect information at this time.  The incident is being actively investigated by the Gilroy Police Department’s Anti-Crime Team.  Please contact Detective McPeek at 408-846-0357 with any information.
