Residential Burglar Charged

ACCUSED: Dominic Beerman 29 year old Male / Neptune City, NJ
NARRATIVE:
Ocean Township police officers were dispatched to 1320 Laurel Avenue for a report of a residential burglary that had occurred. The victim reported that when she returned home from work, she found the door to residence to be unlocked and the house was ransacked. The victim reported over 100 pieces of jewelry to be missing from her residence. Detective Legg conducted an investigation into the burglary and found that several pieces of jewelry belonging to the victim had been sold to a pawn shop in Northern New Jersey by Dominic Beerman. At the completion of Detective Legg's investigation Mr. Beerman was charged with burglary, theft and criminal mischief. He is currently being held at the Monmouth County Correctional Institute.
