The Amarillo Police Department Homicide Unit has identified the victim of the Saturday afternoon shooting as 20 year old Mario Jesus Rodriguez. There have been no arrests made in connection with this case and it remains under investigation. Anyone with information on this shooting is asked to call the APD Homicide Unit at 378-9468 or Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 374-4400. The Amarillo Police Department Homicide Unit is investigating a shooting in the 800 block of S. Kentucky. One person is deceased. The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when it's available.
