McDowell County sheriff’s deputies have identified and charged the man who was loitering naked on the porch of a home on Burma Road West.
                Detective Burlin Ballew charged Denny Lynn Dover, 45, address listed as Hilltop Drive in Marion, with attempted first-degree burglary.
                A homeowner on Burma Road West reported on two occasions – Tuesday, April 9 and Thursday, Oct. 3 – that the video camera system at the house captured a naked man on the porch. During the most recent incident, he attempted to get inside the residence.
                The suspect’s distinctive tattoos gave him away. After distributing photos of him Friday, investigators received tips concerning his identity.
                Additional charges against Dover are pending.
