Evansville man arrested for driving while a Habitual Traffic Violator. 
On Saturday, October 5, 2019, at approximately 12:10 p.m. Sgt. Bruce L .Vanoven conducted a traffic stop on a Black 2003 Hyundai sports utility vehicle after recognizing the driver 29 year old Christopher Grubb of Evansville as the driver. Upon conducting the stop on County Road 1190 East near County Road 200 South. Sgt. Vanoven placed Mr. Grubb into custody after confirming that Mr. Grubb’s Indiana Driver’s License Status was Listed as a Habitual Traffic Violator. Mr. Grubb was transported to the Gibson County Jail where he was charged with Driving While Suspended/ Operating While a Habitual Traffic Violator. He remains in custody on a $750 bond.
Assisting Sgt. Vanoven in his investigation was Oakland City Police Chief Tim Gaines and Gibson County Reserve Deputy Brian Naas.
All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
