Free Home Security Inspections
As part of National Crime Prevention Month, the South River Police Department is reminding residents about our home security inspection program. Through this free program, an officer from our department visits your home to identify security weaknesses and areas of concern that would allow potential criminals to make your residence an easy target. The officer, who has received specific training in this area, then makes recommendations to help remedy these issues and help better protect your home. The goal is to reduce the risk of you and your family becoming a victim of home burglaries and other crimes.
Chief Mark Tinitigan commented “I’m happy to offer home security inspections to our community. The safety and well-being or our residents is a priority of the South River Police Department. Reducing the risk of becoming a victim is often your best defense. This program will go a long way towards accomplishing both of these.”
