This evening around 9:00pm, officers responded to a home invasion call in the 900 block of S. White Ave.
When officers arrived to the location, it was immediately discovered there had been forced entry into the home. The victims stated the suspect took cash, jewelry, electronics, and their family vehicle. The victims also stated the suspect held them at gun point, demanding the keys to the vehicle.
Officers were able to ping the victims electronic device to a nearby residence in the 1300 block of S. Park. Officers located the suspect at the location and recovered the firearm, and the stolen property. The suspect was taken into custody and the investigation remains on-going. At this time, the suspects name is being withheld due to his age.
