Death Investigation Dearborn, MI –
On Wednesday, October 2, 2019, at approximately 8:00 am, the Dearborn Police responded to the area of Schaefer Rd and Rotunda on a report of a man down in the grass next to the roadway.
Responding officers located an unresponsive 62-year-old male from Brownstown. Dearborn Fire Rescue personnel confirmed the individual was deceased. Evidence collection specialists as well as detectives responded and began an investigation into the death.
No obvious signs of foul play were observed and the Wayne County Medical Examiner’s office responded to take custody of the deceased. The identity of the victim is still being withheld pending family notification.
Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad stated, “Our condolences go out to the family of the deceased and we will continue investigating this incident until a determination is made as to the cause of death.”
