*Ring Doorbell Camera Burglary Suspect Arrested*

This morning, Pomona Police Detectives arrested 33-year-old Pomona resident, Andy Garcia. Garcia is believed to be the one responsible for stealing several Ring cameras by prying them off homes in the City of Pomona. Pomona PD gained knowledge about these incidents from vidoes posted on Neighbors by Ring and on social media.

Garcia was booked at the Pomona City Jail and the investigation remains ongoing.

The Pomona Police Department would like to remind residents of its partnership with Neighbors by Ring. The ‘Neighbors’ app is a digital neighborhood watch right on your phone where you can get real-time crime and safety alerts from your neighbors and law enforcement. Pomona PD uses ‘Neighbors’ to monitor crime in your area and send you updates on key crime incidents so the community can stay informed. By working together, we can all make Pomona a safer community.
