Synopsis: A male suspect entered the Von's grocery store and walked up to a teller at the US Bank branch location inside of the store. The male told the teller he had a gun and demanded cash. The suspect received cash from the teller and then fled on foot out of the west exit of the store. After leaving the store there was no further indication of a direction of travel. No gun was seen. The suspect was described as either a White of light skinned Hispanic male with a possible middle eastern accent. He was said to be late 20's to early 30's, 5'9" tall and having a thin build. The male was wearing a blue pullover hooded sweatshirt with a grey sleeveless shirt over the sweatshirt. The hood of the sweatshirt was up over the suspect's head and he was wearing mirrored "aviator" style sunglasses. SDPD Robbery Detectives responded to the scene and will be conducting the investigation.
