Advisory

**Update** An arrest has been made in connection to this case by an outside agency. No further information at this time.

On 09/29/2019 at approximately 1930 hours, an armed robbery occurred in the 1400 block of 12th Street. The victim was running eastbound on 12th Street when a male black adult (approximately 5’9”, heavyset, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, and dark baggy pants) blocked his path, pointed a handgun at him, and told him, “Give me everything you got.” The victim threw his cell phone and headphones onto the ground and showed the suspect his empty pockets. The suspect retrieved the items and demanded the passcode to open the victim’s phone. In fear for his safety , the victim gave up the password. The suspect told the victim to walk down an apartment driveway and the victim complied. As the victim was walking away he heard a vehicle driving away eastbound on 12th Street towards Peck Avenue. The victim ran out to the street and saw a white sedan driving away eastbound. During the robbery, the victim saw two female black adults standing in front of a white sedan that was parked

on the north side of 12th Street. The victim believes that the vehicle he saw the females standing in front of and the one he saw driving away after the robbery are the same vehicle. If you have any information please call the Manhattan Beach Police Department Investigations Bureau (310) 802-5171.
