Mayor Ravi S. Bhalla invites all members of the public to join a groundbreaking ceremony for Hoboken’s Northwest Resiliency Park on Friday at 10:30 am. The ceremony will mark the beginning of construction for what will become Hoboken’s largest park at 5 acres. The park’s open space amenities will include a multi-purpose athletic field, ice skating rink, open lawn, pavilion, playground equipment, and more as well as above and below ground infrastructure to withhold up to 2 million gallons of rainwater to mitigate flooding.
