The suspect arrested in this homicide investigation has been identified as Michael Ruben Russo, a 23 year old Fairfield Resident. A photo has been attached to this message. We will not be releasing the victim’s name at this time.
Again, we would like to thank the witnesses involved and the response of our patrol officers who arrived on scene quickly. A combination of the two led to the quick detention of the suspect and the recovery of a firearm. There are no outstanding suspects in this case. The Investigations Bureau will be meeting with he Solano County District Attorney’s Office this week to go over the case and forward it for prosecution
