Evansville man arrested for driving while a habitual traffic violator.

On September 29, 2019, at 2:49 a.m. Deputy Jennifer Robb was conducting a business check at Greenwell Autobody in Princeton and observed a White 2003 Ford Crown Victoria backed into the front of the business. Upon running the license plates on the Ford vehicle they came back to a Maroon Yukon. At point Deputy Robb left the business, but shortly after leaving she observed the Crown Victoria traveling Northbound on Main Street in Princeton. Deputy Robb then conducted a traffic stop for false and fictitious plates in the parking lot of Casey’s General Store in Princeton. Upon approaching the vehicle Deputy Robb identified the driver as 32-year-old Krishawn Harvey of Evansville, Indiana. During a Roadside investigation Deputy Robb ran Mr. Harvey through the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicle and discovered that Mr. Harvey’s Operator’s License Status listed him as a Habitual Traffic Violator. At that point Deputy Robb placed Mr. Harvey into custody and transported him to the Gibson County Jail. Upon arriving at the jail Mr. Harvey was charged with Operating a Vehicle as a Habitual Traffic Violator. He was also issued citations for False and Fictitious Plates and Operating a Vehicle Without Financial Responsibility. He remains in custody o a $1250 bond.

Assisting Deputy Robb in her investigation was Princeton Officer Dan Goedde and Sergeant Travis Lashbrook.
