On September 28, 2019, at 2:22 a.m. Gibson County Central Dispatch received a 911 report of a possible impaired driver on Interstate 69. At that point Communications Officers placed a Be On the Look Out for a Grey 2006 Saturn Vue reporting that it was all over the roadway. Deputy Garrett Tuley located at the 29 mile marker and upon traveling behind the vehicle he observed the vehicle cross the fog line and the center of the roadway. At that point Deputy Tuley initiated a traffic stop. Upon approaching the vehicle Deputy Tuley detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from the driver 57-year-old Donald Henson of Winslow. At that point Deputy Tuley began a roadside DUI investigation. During his investigation Communications Officers from Gibson County Central Dispatch advised Deputy Tuley that the vehicle that Mr. Henson was driving had been reported stolen out of Princeton. At the conclusion of his investigation Deputy Tuley placed Mr. Henson into custody and transported him to the Gibson County Jail where he was charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated and Theft. He remains in custody on a $650 bond.
