Tip leads to the arrest of Haubstadt woman. 
On September 27,2019 at 12 p.m. Gibson County Deputies received a tip that Marijuana plants were being grown outside a camper at Weather Rock Campground located at 12848 S Weather Rock Drive. Upon arriving at the campground Deputy Jennifer Loesch spoke with 38 year old Jackie Wells of Haubstadt and she gave consent for Deputy Loesch and Troopers Mike Finney and Ryan Johnson to search her property. During a search of the property Marijuana plants were located and taken into custody. At the conclusion of her investigation Deputy Loesch placed Ms. Wells into custody and transported her to the Gibson County Jail. Upon arriving at the jail Ms. Wells was charged with Possession of Marijuana Grows or cultivates. She has since posted an $1100 bond.
All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
