The National Weather Service in Chicago has issued a
* Flood Warning for... Livingston County in central Illinois... Southern La Salle County in north central Illinois...
* Until 845 AM CDT.
* At 245 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated that rain had generally ended across the area. However, a large swath of three to six inches of rain, and in some cases over seven inches of rain, fell across central and northern portions of Livingston county earlier this afternoon and evening. This heavy rainfall will be slow to recede, resulting in hazardous driving conditions due to flooded roadways and low water crossings.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Streator, Pontiac, Dwight, Fairbury, Gridley, Flanagan, Wenona, Odell, Cornell, Saunemin, Rutland, Long Point, Campus, Reddick, Dana and Emington.
* AFFECTED AREAS: LA SALLE, IL ... LIVINGSTON, IL
