Flash Flood Warning until 03:00AM Saturday

The National Weather Service in Chicago has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... Northern Livingston County in central Illinois... Southern La Salle County in north central Illinois... Southern Grundy County in northeastern Illinois...

* Until 300 AM CDT Saturday.

* At 900 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy thunderstorms moving into areas that had previously received 3-5 inches of rainfall earlier today. Rainfall rates of 1-2 inches per hour are likely. Flash flooding may begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Streator, Dwight, Gardner, Flanagan, Wenona, Odell, South Wilmington, Cornell, Ransom, Rutland, Long Point, Campus, Reddick, Dana and East Brooklyn.

* AFFECTED AREAS: LA SALLE, IL ... LIVINGSTON, IL ... GRUNDY, IL

Instructions:

A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. Residents living along streams and creeks or other flood prone areas should take immediate precautions to protect life and property. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
