FLU CLINIC / BLOOD DRIVE - MONDAY
The South Brunswick High School Public Health Club is hosting a Flu Clinic and Blood Drive on Monday at the South Brunswick Public Library. Club Advisor Donna Moreen said the event is open to all. People are urged to get their flu vaccine by the end of October. Typically flu starts widely circulating in November or December, and peaks by February. The flu clinic will be held from 1pm-7pm.
In addition to the flu clinic there will be a blood drive at the library from 5pm to 8pm.

NATIONAL COFFE WITH A COP - WEDNESDAY
South Brunswick Police will take part in National Coffee with a Cop day on Wednesday. The event will be hosted by Pierres of South Brunswick. The day is dedicated to enhance communication and positive interactions between law enforcement agencies and the public.
The day began as part of National Community Policing Week in 2016 and now continues each year on the first Wednesday in October furthering efforts nationwide to bridge the gap between the community and the law.
“Coffee with a Cop is community policing at its core. The simple act of having a cup of coffee with community members can be the first step in increasing trust and cooperation between the police and the people they serve,” said former COPS Office Director Ronald L. Davis.
Chief Raymond Hayducka said, "We have a great community and we want to continue the outstanding relationships we have by hosting this event. Come out spend some time and talk to us about any issues you may have."
