The National Weather Service in Chicago has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... Central Livingston County in central Illinois... South central La Salle County in north central Illinois...

* Until 730 PM CDT.

* At 134 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy thunderstorms occurring in the warned area. One to two inches of rain has fallen across portions of the area with heavy rain continuing.

* Some locations that may experience flooding include... Pontiac, Flanagan, Odell, Cornell, Saunemin, Long Point and Dana.

* AFFECTED AREAS: LA SALLE, IL ... LIVINGSTON, IL

Instructions:

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying spots.
