Citizen Emergency Preparedness Class
A message from Chief Sylvester:
The Sachse Police Department will be offering Citizen Emergency Preparedness classes in the coming weeks to help our citizens be prepared for an emergency situation. Although Sachse is a very safe community, I believe it is our responsibility to assist our citizens in being educated and prepared on what they can do to best protect themselves, and what to expect from a law enforcement response should an active shooter situation occur in our city. We will be offering a series of classes, Saturday October 12, at 10:00 AM, and Tuesday October 22, at 7:00 PM to citizens who wish to participate. Each class will have the same material presented and will last for approximately one and a half hours. No registration is required and this training will be conducted in a classroom environment at the police department.
I believe this training is relevant to today’s world and is a tangible example of our partnership together towards keeping Sachse a safe community. Should anyone have questions please feel free to contact Sergeant Jerry Fox at 469-429-9827, or [email protected].
