Emergency Repair Work may Cause Discolored Water for Customers Near Central & N Allen 
The Water Department is continuing to repair a leak on a 30 inch water main. During this repair, we are operating system valves which may cause temporary water discoloration for customers in the area around Central Ave and N Allen.
The water discoloration is caused by the stirring up of sediment in the system and is not harmful. However, it is best to avoid doing laundry to prevent discoloration of clothes.
