Man missing since 12/30: George Clay, 48, 6'4; 300 lbs; blk hair, brn eyes; missing some teeth; medical condition
The Pasadena Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in finding a man that went missing on December 30th from a residential board and care facility in the 1700 block of North Fair Oaks Avenue.
George Clay is African American, 48 years old, 6’4” and weighs about 300 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes and is missing several teeth. On December 30th at about 8:00 p.m. Clay was discovered missing. He is described as having a mild mental disability and is said to be on several medications.
“This gentleman recently relocated here from New York and is not familiar with the area,” says Interim Chief of Police Christopher Vicino. “While we have ascertained that he has a long history of leaving board and care facilities without permission, our concern is that given his unfamiliarity with our community, someone may take advantage of him or worse yet, harm him in some way. We need extra eyes looking for him so that we can get him safely back to where he can be cared for.”
Anyone who has seen Charles Clay should call Detective Sandeen at 626.744.7099 or the Pasadena Police Department Communications Section at 626.744.4241 if after business hours.
