We would like to recognize Officer Paula Gulian for her years of service, and congratulate her on a well deserved retirement.
Officer Gulian began her law enforcement career as a Reserve Police Officer with the Marina Police Department in January 1998. A year later in February of 1999, the Novato Police Department hired her as a police officer. On April 20, 2001, Officer Gulian was hired by the Fairfield Police Department where she completed her career. She has served the community primarily in Patrol, Investigations, and Youth Services. She has also held the ancillary assignment of Parent Project Instructor.
Some of Officer Gulian’s most significant contributions to the Police Department have been her commitment to our youth and her superior investigation skills. Along with receiving the Lifesaving Award in 2001, Officer Gulian has received numerous commendations from Police Department supervisors and allied agencies for her service to the community, particularly with our youth. She has been a positive representative of the City of Fairfield and the Fairfield Police Department.
