Multiple robberies in Bakersfield past weekend

On Saturday, September 21, 2019, at 1:18 p.m., deputies were dispatched to an armed robbery at the Family Dollar located at 2110 Niles Street. The lone suspect was armed with a handgun, and fled with cash and cigarettes. His description is an approximately 18-year-old Hispanic male, 5’8”, 160lbs. Case# 2019-00153934 
 
On Saturday, September 21, 2019, at 5:34 p.m., deputies were called to the Super 99 Cent Store located at 1424 Crestmont Drive for a report of an armed robbery.  The clerk reported a young Hispanic male, armed with a handgun, entered the store and demanded money. The suspect then fled the scene on foot. An image of the suspect is attached. Case# 2019-00154070 
 
On Sunday, September 22, 2019 at 7:26 p.m., deputies responded to the Dollar General at 2900 Niles Street for an armed robbery.  When they arrived, they learned that a white male and a Hispanic Male entered the store and demanded money.  The Hispanic male was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and a blue Dodger’s baseball cap and was armed with a handgun. The white male was wearing a black baseball cap, a light-hooded sweatshirt, black camo shorts, and white shoes.  Case# 2019-00154738
