Weather alerts of 4 in actiavates Hazelwood snow route plans. Vehicles parked in snow rts. will be towed. 
All vehicles must be removed from snow routes in the City of Hazelwood when predictions of snow in excess of 4 inches is predicted.
With predictions of 4 inches or more of snow tonight from the National Weather Service the City of Hazelwood has activated the Snow Route Plan.
Those not removed will have to be towed by the police department.
Please stay off the roads so that emergency personel can respond quickly to emergencies without traffic congestion.
If you must travel out PLEASE DRIVE SAFELY!
Also, in severe weather it may take some time for rescue services to reach your location. You should have an emergency survival kit in your home and your auto.
For your car: warm blanket, dry socks and shoes, protective headware, non-parishable high carb food items, water, sand, salt, road flares.
Make sure that your cell phone is fully charged.
